Project Team Leaders:

I am beginning to work on the article for the NASULGC Newsline designed to update NASULGC members on the activities that are being conducted under the DOE partnering arrangement. The purpose of this email is to introduce you to Janine Finnell who will be helping me write the article. She will be contacting you in the near future if she has not already done so. Please
assist her as you can. I outlined to Janine an article which contains information on the following:

1. Announce the availability of the new NASULGC/DOE website;
2. Announce that Department of Energy Assistant Secretary/Acting Undersecretary David Garman will be speaking at the NASULGC annual meeting in November on the cooperation effort between DOE and NASULGC; and
3. Inform NASULGC members on how much progress has taken place since the announcement of the DOE/NASULGC partnership at the NASULGC annual meeting last November.

If you have additional suggestions, please Janine or I know. Janine has worked with me on many items including the NASULGC speech last November. She does great work (I would appreciate no comments from anyone about the possibility that I might need help.) I know she looks forward to speaking with you to discuss the goal, purpose, current status, and vision of each of the NASULGC/EERE projects. She will be contacting you in the near future about setting up an appointment for a telephone conversation. Please also feel free to call or e-mail her with a time and date that works best for you.
